Q: can you post the link to [insert artist’s name here]’s gallery/youtube/deviantart/etc. etc. etc.?

A: nope! we don’t post link backs/clickthroughs/usernames as a cautionary measure mainly to protect our own asses but also to protect the innocent.

Q: can we submit videos?

A: no, because videos link back by default. however, if you find a truly awful video and feel like screenie’ing the terrible bits and submitting those screenies to us, we would be okay with that!

we will make an exception, however, if it’s something like an actual anime or commercial or something that has been uploaded by an unaffiliated third party, or a blatant parody video or something (see: nyan neko sugar girls).

Q: why did you guys post that picture? it wasn’t that bad/the art was good but the subject matter was bad/etc. etc. etc.

A: everyone has a different definition of “bad”. there are about six people running this blog and all six of us have different opinions on what constitutes bad art and different levels of bad/terrible/why/OH MY GOD MAKE IT STOP.

additionally, this blog is called ~SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE ART~ not just bad art. bad concept = bad art.

A: gladly! and for future reference, if anyone wants us to take anything down, just leave us a polite message in our ask box and we’ll be glad to oblige. you can be anon and everything.

Q: how come you didn’t post the picture i submitted?

A: eh, could be a variety of reasons:

  1. it wasn’t all that bad.
  2. it was a vendetta submission.
  3. artist signature/watermark in a place/size that’s too inconvenient to remove

Q: omg! what do you have against [insert fandom here]?! you’re so fucking biased!

A: we don’t have anything against any certain fandoms. mrneedlemouse, the one who created this blog in the first place, is pretty much the biggest sonic fan there is, yet most of his contributions to the blog are sonic-related! we all know every fandom has representatives that make the entire thing look bad, but we also know better than the judge everyone in a fandom just because of a few bad apples.

Q: Why didn’t you answer my ask?

A: as pretty much everyone knows, the ask system on tumblr can be pretty stupid sometimes and sometimes we just don’t get them. however, most of the reason why we don’t answer asks is because to be completely honest it was starting to cause a lot of clutter. that’s why we started The Daily SUA (link in sidebar, of course). we kindly ask that you send all questions and comments that are not related to requesting a post to be taken down sent over there. we’ll also be posting other bits of news and stuff about SUA over there, so you should probably consider following it as well.
